Once again, Bierre proved itself to be the right partner for OEM integrators, being able of taking charge of all possible project phases of a third-party job: general layout, mechanical and electrical design, automation software program, execution, production and assembly in the workshop, transport of goods, and then on-site installation and start up.
This time, the synergy with a well-known manufacturer of complete lines in the Emilian Packaging Valley resulted in the realization and supply of an automatic robot palletizer of empty 1lt and 1,5lt PET bottles for edible oil on 800×1200 and 1000×1200 palettes for an end-using converter of empty plastic bottles in Central Italy.
Thanks to know-how, organization and customized service, the proactive partnership with the main contractor led to the development and construction of a reliable robot palletizing system for empty PET bottles, consisting of:
- air conveyors from blow moulder to palletizer, complete with automatic 1-to-2 flow divider from one way to two ways;
- 2-ways pick-and-place stacker to transfer rows of bottles onto the layer preparation table;
- motorized layer preparation table;
- 4-axis anthropomorphic robot;
- palletizing head, mounted on the robot arm, suitable to pick up and deposit a layer of empty bottles per cycle through proper gripping system, and to pick up and place interlayers through suction cups;
- dynamic magazine for interlayer trays;
- layer centering device in palletizing area;
- motorized conveyors for empty pallets in-feed and full pallets out-feed;
- automatic de-stacking magazine for empty pallets;
- electrical control cabinet with PLC and HMI panel;
- perimeter fences and safety systems compliant with EC regulations.
The whole palletizing system, which fully achieved the technical goals required by the final end-user client, is characterized by optimized configuration and compact footprint, which facilitates the access for periodic maintenance operations, and moreover it guarantees the gentle handling of the soft type of containers to palletize, empty PET bottles, which are increasingly lighter today, combining maximum safety and reliability with high-performance efficiency.
