Benvic Europe SpA, a leading chemical company in the production of PVC compounds, selected Bierre Automazioni for the mechanical upgrade of an old bag palletizer in its Ferrara plant.
The obsolete and noisy system of chain sliding guides, made in carbon steel and welded to the machine’s frame, had been replaced by a new cutting-edge system of PE polyethylene guides, equipped with a new kit of mechanical supports, ad hoc designed, to facilitate future maintenance.
Bierre Automazioni has thus been fully appreciated by the customer for the know-how and expertise in every phase of this turnkey intervention, in the evaluation and choice of the most appropriate plastic type for the new sliding guides, high density polyethylene PE1000, characterised by high wear resistance and low friction coefficient with consequent noise reduction, in the CAD analysis and in the production of the profiles of the new plastic chain sliding guides, and in the design and manufacture of the new supports for the guides ensuring user-friendly accessibility.

Customer feedback
“A few months after the installation, we verified that, thanks to the new system supplied by Bierre Automazioni, the noise level and the anomalies caused by wear on the old steel guides have significantly decreased. Furthermore, going beyond expectations, the new type of plastic sliding guides allowed to clearly improve the alignment and therefore the quality of the finished pallets. In this way, an overall increase of the efficiency of the entire machine was achieved.”
