Progeo Molini, flour production plant in Ganaceto (MO) and part of Progeo Group, one of the most important Italian agricultural cooperatives, entrusted Bierre Automazioni for the mechanical and electronic upgrade of an existing robot palletizer for bags serving two packaging lines: the intervention, aimed precisely to increase the flexibility of the current installation, involved the implementation of a new empty pallet feeding line to load plastic pallets, in addition to traditional wooden pallets, in order to facilitate the production of small batches of different products.
Our turnkey supply, compliant with ATEX 22 requirements, was designed to link with the original system, and it included an additional empty pallet destacker and a push button panel connected to the existing main control cabinet, allowing the operator to directly select the type of pallet, wooden or plastic one.
The update of the automation software program by Bierre specialists permitted to arrange the entire system for the simultaneous palletizing on wooden and plastic pallets downstream to the two different packaging lines.
